String Masters Series: Desmond Hoebig, Cello

Canadian cellist Desmond Hoebig has held principal positions in the Cleveland Orchestra, the Houston Symphony Orchestra, and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. He was an award winner at the 1981 Tchaikovsky Competition and grand prize winner at the 1984 Munich International Competition. Hoebig will be joined by Boston pianist Heng-Jin Park of the critically acclaimed Boston Trio. Hoebig and Park will perform sonatas of Schubert, Debussy, and Shostakovich.
