Statements After an Arrest Under the Immorality Act

In apartheid South Africa, where intimate interracial relationships are illegal, a black man and a white woman share more than just their love, baring all in the face of oppression and uncertainty. Athol Fugard’s Statementsis a remarkable love story that stands as a strident reminder of the intolerance and cruelty of a not-so-distant past.

This production contains extensive nudity throughout the entire performance, and uses haze and fog effects. Ages 18+.
