“The City Without Jews,” a silent film screening featuring live original music composed & performed by klezmer violinist Alicia Svigals and Donald Sosin, silent film pianist

Based on the controversial and best-selling novel by Hugo Bettauer, H.K. Breslauer’s 1924 film adaptation of The City Without Jews (Die Stadt ohne Juden) satirically presents a fictional story that was transformed into an all-too-horrific reality.
