Sand Art Terrariums

As summer officially ends, let’s celebrate by making a sand art terrarium perfect for air plants. Whether you have a green thumb or a black thumb, air plants are the easiest plants to care for, and since they don’t need soil to grow, you can get pretty creative with how you display them. This weekend, you’ll design a terrarium by choosing a few different colors of sand, then we’ll show you how to create beautiful wavy or zig-zagged layers of color in a square glass container.
