Rixy’s “Pa*Lante”

“Pa*Lante” by artist Rixy is intended to reflect the powerful ways women of color are moving forward and the honest journeys they navigate including combating Latin machismo. The mural is now open.

Rixy is one of four artists creating public art projects in Now + There’s Public Art Accelerator program which grants Boston-based artists a $25,000 stipend along with a 10-month curriculum to help emerging artists with curatorial, technical, and financial support as they develop new temporary and site-specific works of art for the neighborhoods of Boston.
