View “Waiting for the Boats,” a rarely-seen 1882 Winslow Homer watercolor recently donated to the National Park Service, followed by a champagne reception and lecture by Sylvia Yount, curator at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Longfellow House-Washington’s Headquarters National Historic Site recently welcomed Waiting for the Boats, an 1882 watercolor painting by Winslow Homer, into its museum collection. Please join the celebration of this wonderful painting and its generous donor on Tuesday, June 6.
