Pianist Kate Liu, the Bronze and the Best Mazurka Prize winner at the 2015 Chopin International Competition in Warsaw, will appears in person at Isabella Steward Gardner Museum’s Calderwood Hall, on Saturday 03-20, 8pm. Program: Handel, Chopin & Schumann. Limited seats are all taken.

Pianist Kate Liu was the Bronze Medal and Best Mazurka Prize at the 17th International Fryderyk Chopin Competition in Warsaw, Poland. She was also awarded the audience favorite prize voted by the Polish public on the Polish National Radio.

Kate Liu received her Bachelor of Music degree at the Curtis Institute of Music, and is currently pursuing her graduate degree at the Juilliard School, where she studies with Robert McDonald and Yoheved Kaplinsky.
