Paul Fey's North American Debut - "Music from Leipzig"

Internationally acclaimed artist, Paul Fey, will make his North American debut at the Methuen Memorial Music Hall.  Titled “Music from Leipzig,“ his program features composers who have lived and worked in Leipzig, Germany, starting with the famous J.S. Bach and continuing through the centuries, including two works by the artist himself.

Paul Fey is a very popular performer on YouTube where his channel currently has over 17,000 subscribers. He is also a prolific composer whose works have been played in concerts and services as well as online by organists around the world. We will hear the world premiere of his “Fantasie on Simple Gifts“, commissioned for the occasion, along with works by Bach, Kuhnau, Stölzel, Mendelssohn and Karg-Elert.  His program will feature well-known works alongside lesser-known but very exciting pieces, including a dramatic reading and musical commentary on “The Battle of David and Goliath“!
