OLD SCHWAMB MILL'S ANNUAL SPRING OPEN HOUSE & ST. PATRICK’S DAY MUSIC

Join us at the Mill’s annual Spring Open House, when the Mill will a special exhibition highlighting photographs that were taken at  the Mill in 1969-1970, when it transitioned from a family-owned manufactory to a living history museum. “Mill Photographs 1969-1970,” features the work of Len Gittleman and the late Richard Rogers in high-quality photography; the Opening Reception for the show will begin at 3:30 pm. From 2 pm to 3:30 pm, we will present a spectacular St. Patrick’s Day musical celebration with Matt & Shannon Heaton, who will perform updated and traditional Irish songs and tunes. Steeped in sessions in County Clare and brewed in the acoustic music scenes of Chicago & Boston, their instrumentals and sweet husband-and-wife harmony singing draw deeply from the Irish tradition. Continuous Tours of the Mill with commentary by our master woodworker David W. Graf will be available between 11 am and 2 pm.
