Myanna with the Ken Clark Organ Trio and Cassandre McKinley

Myanna grew up in the boston area, went to Berklee, and has been performing here and across the country for many years. A multi award winning saxophonist, Her music has been described as an amalgam of funk, soul and jazz.

When Myanna and Cassandre first performed together, it was simply magical, and that magic has been palpable at every performance since. Cassandre’s “jazzsoul” style complements Myanna’s soulful style of playing and will transport the audience – guaranteed.

Myanna and the Ken Clark Organ Trio have been collaborating for years, and the musical results remain fresh and super funky. Myanna’s new CD Divine Dysfunktion includes several tracks featuring Ken and the trio, which they will be playing on Friday.
