Musical Revolution

The Charles River Wind Ensemble performs its final concert of its 2018-2019 season entitled “MUSICAL REVOLUTION” in Lexington on June 2.  Led by Artistic Director Matthew Marsit and joined by the Arlington-Belmont Chorale, this concert concludes the celebration of  our 20^th season.

We will be performing the following works:

Festive Overture – Dmitri Shostakovich

Symphony No. 3 “Slavyanskaya” – Boris Kozheznikov

Concerto for Trumpet No. 1 – Mieczyslaw Weinberg

Russian Christmas Music – Alfred Reed

Grande Symphonie Funèbre et Triomphale – Hector Berlioz

The concert is free of charge.  It will be a wonderful afternoon of music, and we hope to see you all there!
