Join Convivium Musicum, Boston’s choir for Renaissance music, for a program of works by Willaert, Gabrieli, Monteverdi and others working in the musically innovative world of 16th and 17th century Venice.
The installation of Adrian Willaert as maestro di cappella at the Basilica of St. Mark in Venice in 1527 was one of the most consequential hirings in 16th-century European music.
