Music at Eden's Edge presents Music Speaks! Inside the Frame / Masques, Intrigues and Entertainments

Baroque Violinists Julia McKenzie and Maria Benotti and Baroque Cellist Sarah Freiberg bend identity and reality in a musical tapestry of surprises woven to tell tales, imitate animals and exploit character flaws.

Masques, Intriques & Entertainments is a feast of delights! The bill of fare features Gulliver Suite by Telemann (yes, THAT Gulliver!), an entertaining set of musical vignettes derived from Jonathan Swift's novel, Gulliver's Travels; as well as Sonata Representativa by Heinrich Biber, in which a pastoral musical setting frames the sounds of animals through the voice of the violin.
