Music at Eden’s Edge presents a feast for your ears – come savor the varied offerings of Essential Seasonings, a series of three chamber concerts in the Topsfield Congregational Church Meeting House, in Topsfield, MA.
Experiencing the varied offerings in a concert season is very similar to savoring the delightful variety in a great feast. For our 2019 chamber concert series, Essential Seasonings, MEE plans on a relatively cool weather menu, playing for our audiences in June, September and October. The focus will be on piquancy (Salty Solstice Splash); exotic nuances (Spicy Autumn Equinox); and tasteful nostalgia (Tangy Sweet October). There is such a variety of music, from favorite classical string quartets

There is such a variety of music, from favorite classical string quartets of Haydn and Mozart, to a newly created chamber music rock piece…including French impressionism and exoticism by Debussy and Cras, a quartet by Boston’s own Amy Beach, and a Beethoven String Trio! We hope you will accept our invitation to sample our feast all season long.
In June, MEE’s Essential Seasonings series begins with “Salty Solstice Splash,” introducing our brilliant new member clarinetist Todd Brunel as well as his composition The Fusion Illusion, a bit of jazz-funk-rock. Todd is a versatile musician and will be featured in works as diverse the Hummel Quartet in E Flat for clarinet and strings and Rebecca Clarke’s Prelude, Allegro and Pastoral for clarinet and viola. Not to be outdone, the strings will offer the Beethoven String Trio in C Minor, robust, virtuosic, exuberant and even slightly mysterious.
With as varied a program as this to start our season, we hope you will spend the Summer Solstice in our company, savor the salt and take an eclectic musical splash with MEE!
