An evening celebrating female artists
The MIT Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Adam Boyles, will present a program entitled PERSISTENCE featuring exclusively works by female composers. Poetry, speeches, and other spoken word material will also be interspersed throughout the program.
The concert itself is unprecedented in its vision and speaks directly to this moment in our social landscape. Celebrating the conclusion of International Women’s Week, and during Women’s History Month, we hope to give these women
