Mike Renzi and Shawn Monteiro

Winner of seven Emmy awards for his work on Sesame Street and Days of Our Lives, iconic jazz performer and arranger Mike Renzi was long-time pianist and music director for Mel Torme and Peggy Lee. He’s the perfect compliment to any vocalist, but especially Shawnn Monteiro whose lyrical style brings out the emotion in any song. She’s shared the stage with Clark Terry, Red Holloway, Ray Brown, Lionel Hampton and Stanley Jordan to name a few. Shawnn and Mike will play selections from their album, From Carmen with Love, on the Whaling City Label. Paul Del Nero (bass) rounds out the trio.
