Feb 27 2019
Matting Change Workshop with Artist Audrey Lin

Participate in artist Audrey Lin’s Matting Change project, which organizes crafters in the Boston area to remake plastic bags into crocheted sleeping mats for homeless residents.

Join Audrey Lin to learn about her senior project - Matting Change - and get involved with making plarn (plastic - yarn) and learn how to crochet a mat. Matting Change organizes people in the Boston area to crochet sleeping mats using single use plastic bags for young people experiencing homelessness.

No experience necessary! Materials will be provided, but if you have them, please bring all your single use grocery bags and/or Q sized crochet hooks.

This event is recommended for ages 16+.
