Her program culminates with Liszt’s piano pyrotechnics with his take on the most popular waltz from the most beloved opera of the day, as well as bringing two rarely played, but impressive works—Franck’s reflective Prélude, Fugue et Variation, and Thalberg’s flashy Caprice on themes from a Bellini opera.
