Making Dance While a Mother

Inspired by the issues that concern members of the dance community, the December 13th conversation engages two mothers who are also dance-makers in dialogue with each other. Laura Sánchez and Jessica Roseman- both accomplished and prolific artists with unique histories – will share their stories of their relationships to children, to partners and extended families, all the while giving birth in a daily practice of making dances – creating the other offspring in the room sometimes unnamed. Audience and viewer questions will be engaged within the session.
