Lowell Artists Host July Open Studios

Western Avenue is a complex of four buildings of artist studios and loft residences that number over 350 artists. That makes us the largest artist community on the East Coast – right here in Lowell MA!! The artists welcome the public in to their studios and lofts on the first Saturday of the month year round to explore, chat, get ideas, find out about classes, marvel and delight.

Brew’d Awakening will be on the loading dock with a coffee pop-up. Navigation Brewing Company will be open starting at 2pm and the food truck of the day is B’s Tacos.  The Loading Dock Gallery will host a reception for their new show – Six by Six Under $100 – from 4-6pm. What’s not to like about a day in Lowell – with art, coffee, tacos and beer – and lots of parking.
