Looking at Visual Art Through the Lens of Sexual Misconduct

A panel discussion addressing issues regarding how we consider the work of artists who have been accused of sexual misconduct.

The #MeToo movement has touched upon many sectors of our society, including the world of visual art.  How do our opinions and perceptions of artits accused of sexual misconduct change?  What are the challenges in acknowledging accomplished work in this light, and what are the outcomes for both the artist and the public?

Panelists include Samuel Adams, Sarah Kennel, Steve Locke, Karen Moss and Alicia Rodriguez-Alvisa.  Moderated by Jenee Osterheldt, Culture Writer for the Boston Globe.
