Looking at Power and Privilege - A BHCC Visual Media Arts Faculty Show

This exhibition explores the extant tension and structural limitations of the concepts of “power” and “privilege” as they are commonly perceived in historically determined meanings and contemporary, socially conscious interrogations.

POWER and PRIVILEGE — This exhibition explores the extant tension and structural limitations of the concepts of “power” and “privilege” as they are commonly perceived in historically determined meanings and contemporary, socially conscious interrogations. These works are intended to both expand and challenge awareness of current issues, institutions and individualized paradigms which restrict, impair or otherwise confine equity, justice and liberty, both locally and globally.
