Hilton Als, Visiting Curator of the Performing Arts, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum,
Pulitzer-Prize winning theatre critic Hilton Als adapts 1966 film “Portrait of Jason,” the seminal documentary on the LGBTQIA+ experience, for the stage.
On December 3, 1966, director Shirley Clarke invited a small crew to her apartment at the Hotel Chelsea to make a film.
