‘L’Italiano…dal latino ad oggi’

Dante Alighieri Society of MA presents an informative video lecture in Italian by the late Prof. Luca Serianni as part of ‘Le Pillole di Dante’ collection produced by the Dante Alighieri Society in Rome. Prof. Serianni will lead us on an informative journey entitled ‘L’Italiano…dal latino ad oggi’ offering us much insight on the origin of the Italian language, its development over the centuries and its position in the world.

This brilliant lecture is presented in a manner that it is easily understood by the general public and is highly recommend to all students studying Italian linguistics, all teachers of Italian and to those who simply love love “le genti del paese la’ dove ‘l si’ suona.”
