Leap of Faith - Main Sequence

This show, Main Sequence on 1/18/2020, is the core duet at the first residency performance at Outpost 186 in 2020 and a warmup for two recording sessions at Evil Clown Headquarters (Changing the Basis on 1/23/2020, and Principles of an Open Future on 2/13/2020).  Joel Simches, the house Evil Clown recording engineer, who routinely records performances for larger, more complicated ensembles, will be on hand to man the console in order to achieve the best possible result.  Sets for small units at Evil Clown Headquarters really demonstrate the broad palate aesthetic common to all Evil Clown performances, since the two rooms of the studio are fully available for a lot of instruments.  So even as a duet, the instrumentation and the sonority undergo radical transformation over the duration of the improvisation.
