LBJ and the 1960s: A Lecture with Historian Gary Hylander

Join us as we discuss Lyndon Johnson and the politics, issues and personalities of the 1960s, one of the most tumultuous decades in American History. Our narrative will focus on four phases of the Johnson years: his selection as JFK's Vice President, the Johnson/Goldwater 1964 Election, the Great Society and the Vietnam War. Our unifying theme will be the triumph and tragedy of LBJ.
