Kiniwe

Kiniwe (Attah Poku, director), the African Music and Dance Ensemble of the Tufts Music Department hosts Fafali (Ben Paulding, director) from Brandeis University in a performance of contemporary versions of traditional music and dance genres of the Ashanti, Ewe, Dagomba, and Gá ethno-linguistic communities (Ghana). In the Ewe language, fafali means “Let there be life” and kiniwe means “Are you ready?” Come ready to celebrate!
