Kevin Harris Project: Fractal Interplay

I’m pleased to have pianist Kevin Harris back to Mandorla Music!  Kevin’s past Mandorla appearances have been joyous & musically dazzling, and listeners always leave feeling like they’ve not only witnessed a performance, but have been an active part of something very special.

For these ‘Fractal Interplay’ performances, Kevin and longtime musical partner Steve Langone will offer a musical representation of fractals, the complex patterns found all around us that are self-similar and intricately beautiful. “Such patterns in life and music seek to remind us that we, in our uniqueness, are equally beautiful and complex,” says Harris.

Kevin’s shows have been among Mandorla’s most popular, and have generally sold out. We don’t want you to miss this, so this time we’re offering two separately-ticketed shows at 7 and 9pm.

Drummer Steve Langone has been a mainstay of the Boston scene for 25 years. Harris and Langone have played together in a range of ensembles for many years, and occasionally pare things down to explore the deep musical rapport they’ve developed over the years as a duo.
