Juneteenth Celebration

The Juneteenth will bring together the many cultures of Fitchburg and surrounding communities as we remember and celebrate our history and freedom from slavery as we enjoy family, food, fun, entertainment and vendors.

The Juneteenth is a culturally diverse event, which celebrates the commemoration of the announcement of the abolishment of slavery.  This year’s festival will include a variety of cultures from the community as they will be featured in dance, song, spoken word and an array of vendors.  There will also be fun activities for children to include face painting, bounce house and obstacle course.  Small food vendors such as hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn and snow cones.

Event is FREE to attend and open to the public
