Jorge Perez-Albela presents: Reconexion

Jorge Perez-Albela is a drummer/percussionist from Lima, Peru and recipient of the 2019 Live Arts Boston Grant from the Boston Foundation.

He will be presenting his original compositions and arrangements reflecting his vision and multicultural journey throughout the sounds of his native Peru, Jazz and world music.

Jorge has performed with Maria Schneider, Ruben Blades, Sofia Rei, Eva Ayllon, Mili Bermejo, Danilo Perez, George Garzone, Avishai Cohen, Tal Gamlieli, Bert Seager, Jason Palmer, Daniel Blake, Marco Pignataro, Jarrett Cherner among others.
