Joint Art Reception

Nature Inspires: Monotypes by Lynda Goldberg will be on view in the Gallery. She is fascinated by the positive and negative spaces created in nature by things such as leaves, pine needles and clematis vines. Moments of Peace by Alfred De Angelo will be on view in the Main Hall. His series of surrealist paintings look ‘through’ outward appearances and begin to embody the essential mystery of existence presenting what the artist sees as small surrealist visual poems. Both shows will be on view May 2-30 and are part of the Newton Festival of the Arts.
