JCA Orchestra at The Lilypad 4/10

The20 piece Jazz Composers Alliance (JCA) Orchestra will present a program of exciting new music at the Lily Pad. Featured will be new compositions by resident composers David Harris, Darrell Katz, Mimi Rabson and Bob Pilkington. The JCA Orchestra has been presenting bold, exciting new music since 1985, has never stopped trying to move the music forward, and features some of the finest improvising musicians in the Boston area.

The JCA Orchestra has released ten CDs, and has a new one on the way. We have also had an illustrious series of guest artists, including Oliver Lake, Sam Rivers, Julius Hemphill, Maria Schneider and Dave Holland.
