Jazz and World Music: Faculty Concert

Wellesley’s dynamic jazz and world Music faculty presents “Bringing Down Walls: Music without Borders,” a program that celebrates cultural connectivity and embodies the concept that music cannot be contained by literal or figurative barriers.

The evening’s performance will feature original arrangements and compositions in a range of border-bending genres, showcasing the creativity and breadth of the Wellesley jazz and world Music faculty: Kaoruko Pilkington, voice; Tom Duprey, trumpet; Rich Greenblatt, vibraphone; David Harris, trombone; Mark Henry, bass; Russell Hoffmann, piano; Steven Kirby, guitar; Steve Langone, drum set; Lance Martin, flute; Cercie Miller, saxophone; Kera Washington, percussion; and Paula Zeitlin, violin.
