In The Groves: A Summer Solstice Journey

Immerse yourself in nature with ancient tree tales, Celtic harp and song on this twilight stroll through the beautiful groves of Boston’s favorite tree sanctuary, the Arnold Arboretum, with storyteller Diane Edgecomb and harper Margot Chamberlain.

About the performance:

This enchanting evening of tree myths from around the world was designed specifically for Boston’s favorite tree sanctuary, the Arnold Arboretum. Created by Oracle award-winning storyteller Diane Edgecomb and Celtic harper Margot Chamberlain, this Summer Solstice journey takes the audience for twilit travel along tree-lined paths, with story and music accompanying the way. Two performances: Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22, 6:30-8:30 pm.
Tickets are $20 through June 15th and $25 after.

Performances limited to an audience of 30.

PARKING INFO

You can get to the Arboretum by subway, bus, or car. Get directions to our main entrance at Arborway Gate, Peters Hill, Weld Hill Building, or Dana Greenhouses. Free parking is available along the Arborway, Bussey Street, and Walter Street. There is no visitor parking inside the Arboretum. The Arnold Arboretum also offers resources for improved accessibility.

The Arboretum is easily reached by public transportation. Take the Orange Line to Forest Hills, cross Washington Street, and take Blackwell Footpath through Bussey Brook Meadow to the South Street Gate.
