Hugh Hinton introduces Methuen Memorial Music Hall’s Steinway D “Concert Grand”.
The Steinway Concert Grand Piano, circa 1953, was bequeathed to the Methuen Memorial Music Hall by the late William A. Goodwin. Pianist Hugh Hinton, who performs widely in Boston and New England as a concerto soloist, in recitals, and as a chamber musician, will play Sonata in b minor Hob XVI: 32 by Haydn, Sechs kleine Klavierstucke, Op. 19 by Schoenberg, and Preludes, Book I by Debussy.
