This year’s “IMAGINE PEACE” program features the song “Imagine,” Hibakusha monologue, Hula ‘Auana w/ original peace song, Messages of Peace from Cities of Nagasaki and Hiroshima, testimony of Hibakusha (a-bomb survivor), Paper Lantern Ceremony of Peace ft. traditional & contemporary Japanese songs w/ screening of photography tribute from Hiroshima, dynamic kids dance troupe, Lotus Sound~music of the world and the finale song, by the SkyBridge, “WE DECLARE PEACE.”
Performers include (in order of appearance): Solomon Murungu, Sara Infini Takagi, Christina R. Chan, Ahura Z. Diliiza, Nirakazi Diliiza, Kokoro Tanimine, Yui Takeuchi, Miho Sato, Move and Inspire (Yuki Hoshi, Yui Oosaki, Sala Wax), Juri Love, Jaden Onwuakor, Jayla Onwuakor, Shileta Peregrino Cezario, Paola Munda & Lotus Sound, Xingyu Yao, Emily Prigot, Seira Araki, Erika Araki, June Kresch and more. Special guest speakers include Yutaka Araki from Hiroshima (w/ Joji Araki, interpreter).
