Harmony at Home

This concert explores the extraordinarily fruitful musical relationships within two musical families: that of siblings Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn and that of husband and wife Jan Ladislav and Sophia Corri Dussek. Program includes Felix’s Mendelssohn’s Piano Trio no. 1 in his own arrangement for flute, cello, and piano, Fanny Mendelssohn’s Adagio for violin and piano, J.L. Dussek’s Piano Trio in E Minor, op. 2,  and Sophia Dussek’s Flute Sonata no. 1
