"Game of Pairs" - the Almost Spring Concert

The Arlington-Belmont Chorale and the Arlington-Belmont Chamber Chorus present their Almost-Spring Concert, “A Game of Pairs” on Sunday, March 10, at 3:30 p.m.

The concert includes five poems set to music, each of which has been interpreted by two different composers. Works include: Sure on this Shining Night, a poem by James Agee, with musical interpretations by Samuel Barber (1940) and by Morten Lauridsen (2005); Music, When Soft Voices Die, by Percy Bysshe Shelley, interpreted by Hubert Parry (1897) and Charles Wood (1915); Ubi Caritas, interpreted by Maurice Duruflé (1960) and Ola Gjeilo (2007); and Reconciliation, a poem by Walt Whitman, with

Tickets are purchased at the door. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, and $5 for those 12 and under. This venue is handicap accessible.
