Experimental and Expressive Drawing

There are as many ways to draw as there are draughtsmen and women! We will try out a variety of experimental drawing processes, investigating the relationship between eye, brain and hand.

Are you stuck in your creative process? These exercises can help you look a the world and drawing with fresh eyes. Are you new to drawing and would like to try out different approaches and materials? We will practice mark-making, line, shape, value, gesture and composition, all classic elements of art, but will question expectations about what art is supposed to be.
