Ensemble Aubade (Peter H. Bloom, Francis Grimes, Mary Jane Rupert): music for flute,viola,harp

Ensemble Aubade (Peter H. Bloom, flute; Francis Grimes, viola; Mary Jane Rupert, harp) will perform Claude Debussy’s magnificent Sonata for Flute, Viola and Harp, one of the great works of the 20^th century.  Other selections will include the exuberant Sonatine en Trio by Maurice Ravel, the witty and charming Suite Brêve by Ladislas de Rohozinski, and the evocative Elegiac Trio by Arnold Bax.  Ensemble Aubade concertizes across the United States, winning praise for stellar musicianship and vibrant performances.  The group has been hailed for “intensity, imagination, skill, and finesse” (St. Lawrence University).  Ensemble Aubade is managed by Americas Musicworks.
