Join the Gibson House Museum for a virtual talk discussing the specifics of women’s fashion from 1860 to 1900 using examples from the Gibson House Museum collections.

​Bustles. Puffed sleeves. Corsets. Our image of nineteenth-century women’s clothing is of big, complicated dresses with constricting undergarments. Join us to dig deeper into the specifics of women’s fashion and how it changed between 1860 and 1900.
