"Conde Nast: The Man and his Empire": Biographer Susan Ronald discusses her latest book

The venerable New England Historical Genealogical Society, located on Newbury Street in Boston’s Back Bay launches “American Inspiration,” a new, author series highlighting inspiring Americans in our nation’s cultural, political and social history.  Best-selling authors will discuss their latest biographies on these individuals and explore themes such as personal identity, families and immigration.

The book series kickoffs on September 17th at 6pm with a discussion of publisher Conde Nast with British-American author, Susan Ronald.  Later in the month, Brian Day Jones, will discuss his latest book on creative genius, Theodor Geisel, also known as Dr. Seuss. Future authors throughout the fall and into January 2020 include Gail Collins, George Howe Colt, Joseph Ellis, and Scott Simon among others.
