Sending ceramics by email – 3D printing, Ceramic Commons exhibition opens in the US for the first time at Gallery 5, Emmanuel College, Boston.
(Boston, MA March 11, 2019) Ceramic Commons is a project developed between Anna Andersen, Denmark and Megumi Naitoh, Boston, USA. Both are ceramic artists working with 3D printing. Ceramic Commons (CC) celebrates an open-source environment and digital 3D technology that allows our work to be sent and shared across the world. Ten artists working with ceramic extruding 3D printers were invited to join the project by sending their creative common licensed work to CC electronically. The collection

Ten artists working with ceramic extruding 3D printers were invited to join the project by sending their creative common licensed work to CC electronically. The collection of 10 works was printed in the ceramic studio at Emmanuel College by Megumi and her student assistants. The works are shown in the US for the first time at Gallery 5 at Emmanuel College this month from March 11 2019 to April 22, 2019. Opening talk and Q and A session is scheduled 3/13 Wed. 3:30-4:15.
