Celebrating the Big Band Era

Capturing the mood and music of this seminal period of Americana will be The Greg Hopkins Jazz Orchestra, a 17 piece all-star contingent led by its acclaimed conductor, trumpeter and arranger Greg Hopkins along with its heralded singer, Donna McElroy, Berklee College Vocal Professor.

Hopkins has written arrangements for the likes of Louis Bellson, Billy Maxted and Buddy Rich, and has performed with such legends as Dizzy Gillespie, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Burt Bachrach and Ella Fitzgerald.

Miss Elroy was the arranger and background vocalist on gold and platinum recordings by Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, BeBe and CeCe Winans and Amy Grant.
