Boston Smart Utilities—Bootcamp

Come learn about the Boston Smart Utilities program—an interdepartmental initiative led by the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) aimed toward developing strategies for more sustainable, resilient, equitable, and innovative utility services in the City of Boston.

The discussion will focus on the two implementation tools of the program:

(1) The Smart Utilities Policy for Article 80 Development Review

(2) The Smart Utility Standards

We will also go over how to use the Smart Utilities Checklist to submit the requested information during the Article 80 Development Review process.

These sessions will be tailored to Real Estate Developers, Permitting Consultants, Architects, and Engineers who currently are or will be undergoing the BPDA Article 80 Development Review process.

Both sessions will cover the same information, but different members of the Smart Utilities Steering Committee (SUSC) will be available for Q&A. You or your organization may choose to attend one or both sessions, depending on the SUSC members who will be there:
