Conceived as a sculptural response to the deepening crisis in American civics, Christopher Abrams Lie of the Land features small-scale works and installations that fuse miniature landscapes with questions about the future of the nation’s civic life.

At the center of Christina Zwart’s showStrength in Unityis a five-foot high bundle of sticks painted blue and red surrounded by multiple broken ones. Inspired by the Aesop fable “The Bundle of Sticks”represents what’s possible when people stop shouting and start listening.
