Boston Harbor Scottish Fiddle School

BHSFS presents you with an opportunity that is unique to fiddle camps:  a chance to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings of Boston’s Thompson Island, part of the Harbor Islands National Recreation Area, and at the same time enjoy Scottish music lessons with a world-renowned staff of teachers!  BHSFS is a nurturing community of people of all musical levels, united by a common interest and purpose. It is easy to make friends here through the variety of classes and other activities offered through the week.  We enjoy the company of campers of all ages, from children and teens to empty-nesters and seniors, so you are sure to fit in. NOTE: Saturday’s events will take place at the Arlington Masonic Temple, located at 19 Academy Street, Arlington, MA. All other classes and events will be on Thompson Island.

In addition to fiddle classes at four levels and small classes for piano and other instruments, the schedule offers electives, jam sessions, parties, dancing for all, an auction, a ceilidh, and Visitors’ Day on Tuesday.
