Beginner Contemporary Dance Workshop with Project 31

Mondays June 24th, July 8th & 22nd & August 5th from 7:30- 9:00pm

New to dance? Learn to move with Project 31 Artistic Director Kenzie Finn! This is the perfect class for beginner dancers who want to feel more confident in their technique and more comfortable taking dance classes. Dancers will learn the foundation of contemporary dance techniques in a warm, nurturing atmosphere. The class will begin with a structured warm-up including roll-downs, plies, tendus, flat backs, and laterals and progress to work across the floor including prances, turns, and walking patterns. The class will conclude with a feel-good center combination allowing each dancer to explore the space and their voice as a mover.
