“This is the sound of a conductor and an orchestra really clicking with their namesake composer. Their love of the music is palpable…the solo playing oozes with the fun they must have been having.” – Gramophone
The acclaimed co-principal violist of Britain’s Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment joins H+H concertmaster Aisslinn Nosky for Mozart’s delightful Sinfonia Concertante – a combination of exquisitely intertwining melodies and high-voltage virtuosity. Led by Harry Christophers, Haydn’s noble, immensely popular 49th Symphony raises the curtain, and his sunny 87th concludes this jewel of a concert.
