A Gramophone Artist of the Year (2018) and current Artist-in-Residence at Wigmore Hall, Rachel Podger is “the unsurpassed British glory of the baroque violin” (The Times).  The founder and artistic director of Brecon Baroque, Podger is a leading interpreter of baroque and classical music. She brings an unaccompanied solo violin performance of baroque favorites with Matteis’s Ayrs, Biber’s Passacaglia, and bookended with Bach.
